Our Programs

Assessments

Any exercise program considered safe, smart, and effective begins with assessments. It is vital to determine where our members are beginning with us, so that we can monitor your progress, demonstrate improvement, and ultimately, achieve your goals. Therefore, for your general safety, we require certain assessments upon joining as a member, and for your overall success, we will offer you other assessments.

Our assessment package measures the following:

  • Lifestyle Analysis

As part of our initial assessment, we'll gather information on your health and medical history, medications, exercise goals, etc. via an online survey you can take from the comfort of your own home or phone.

  • Cognitive-Motor Analysis

Dividat Senso provides various cognitive-motor assessments. The Senso offers six assessments including Go-No-Go, Stroop, Feature Switching, and Response Inhibition tests.

  • Blood Pressure

We use an automatic blood pressure and heart rate monitor by Inbody® to capture baseline data, and confirm that we can conduct additional assessments.

  • Body Composition

Body fat and lean body mass are important measures, and we use an Omron body composition analyzer to assess your overall body composition.

  • Balance & Fall Risk

We provide a balance and fall risk assessment score using an objective scale from Balance Tracking Systems® that measures the amount of sway one demonstrates when standing still with eyes closed. Additional balance tests are available.

  • Grip Strength

Evidence exists for a predictive link between grip strength and all-cause and disease-specific mortality, future function, bone mineral density, fractures, cognition and depression, and problems associated with hospitalization.

Programming

Our proprietary Q4 Active fitness circuit is designed to improve your cognitive health, physical fitness, and overall functional longevity for a happier, healthier lifespan. Our interval-based (i.e., “Cardio”), and circuit-based approach features six different stations addressing brain training, muscular strength and endurance, balance and stability, heart rate training, mobility and flexibility, and neuromotor control.

Our classes are safe, fun, efficient, results-oriented, and socially engaging. They feature cutting-edge, fitness technology that combines a dual-task environment with elevated heart rate for maximum brain benefits. Dual tasking is performing more than one task, movement, skill simultaneously, and is considered the “silver bullet” for improving cognitive fitness.

We know our members have different goals and levels of ability, so we offer multiple levels of the same class to meet you and your ability level where you are. Furthermore, our continuously rotating class schedule allows members the opportunity to experience a variety of classes.

Specialty Programming

For members who prefer a little more personalized attention, a separate, multi-purpose room provides a scaled-down environment that accommodates groups of 4-6 members, as well as private and semi-private personal training/coaching.

Our specialized programs address:

  • General cognitive health

  • Neurological conditions and post-rehabilitation

  • Specific cognitive fitness

    • Attention

    • Memory

    • Processing speeds

    • Planning and decision-making skills
