Workshop: Are You Ready to Pickleball?

  • Q4 Active 6200 Variel Avenue, Ste. #2A Woodland Hills United States (map)

Pickleball is quickly exploding in popularity all over the country, but maybe too fast for its own good. Why? Because not everyone is in the proper condition to begin playing, and many enthusiasts are quickly getting hurt as a result. In this first of a short workshop series, Q4 Active’s Patricia Soley provides an overview of the very popular sport, breaks it down into its most common movements performed, and suggests a bundle of great exercises to improve your pickleball conditioning level, while at the same time helping you to reduce your risk of injury. If you play Pickleball, or are interested in beginning to play, you don't want to whiff on this terrific workshop.

REGISTRATION: The cost of this workshop is $35 ($25 for Q4 Active and Warner Center Pickleball Club Members). Note: Warner Center Pickleball Club* Members, please call to register.

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Identify and review what actions are used in the sport.
  2. Identify muscle groups used
  3. Provide activities/exercises to strengthen and train those areas
  4. Review proper warm up and cool down
